I’m on your team to help decipher the financial-ese, and work with you to set you up for success so we can get into your dream home.

My Credentials

I am a fully licensed Mortgage Associate with the Real Estate Council of Alberta, a proud member of the Alberta Mortgage Association, as well as the Mortgage Professionals Canada.

My formal education includes a University degree in Psychology and Biological Sciences. My career started in the first responder field as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). I thrived in the field and loved helping people. With the birth of my two daughters I realized I wanted to help and give back to the community in a different capacity so I could spend more time with my family.

Going through the process of purchasing a home was not a great experience and left me feeling confused, frustrated and overwhelmed with the process. It was at that moment I knew the experience could be significantly improved. So, here I am. Making a difference one mortgage at a time.

6 Steps to Buying a Home

There are a few formal steps that needs to be taken in order to purchase a home. Getting pre-approval for a budget takes significant stress out of the process and will give you a better overall buying experience.

Step 1: Get Pre-Approved

This determines your bowrroing power so you know the price range of homes you can shop for.

Step 2: Set a Budget

Home ownership comes with additional expenses, and you don't want to get in over your head. Set a realistic budget that includes taxes, insurance utilities and other bills.

Step 3: Finding a home

This is the fun part! There are various avenues you can purchase a home through. I work with some really great realtors who can help you find the right home in your preferred neighbourhood.

Step 4: Make an Offer

This is a legal document which outlines the purchase price offer and any items included in the sale. At this point we secure your lender.

Step 5: Sign Papers

Once the financing is complete, the lender will send mortgage documents to your lawyer for you to sign.

Step 6 Moving in

Depending how you purchased your home (via builder, realtor or privately) arrangements will be made for you to get your keys. Now you can plan your pizza & moving party!
